    The 26-mile Wild Horse Pass Corridor, part of Interstate 10 from Loop 202 in south Phoenix to State Route 387 near Casa Grande, serves as a crucial commuter and freight link, connecting the Gila River Indian Community to essential services in Maricopa and Pinal Counties. To enhance safety and alleviate congestion, an additional general-purpose lane is being added in each direction from Loop 202 to State Route 387, creating three lanes in each direction between Phoenix and Tucson. Additionally, HOV lanes will be extended from Loop 202 to Riggs Road.

    The Interstate 10: Country Club to Kino project is the first project to come out of the Interstate 10 and State Route 210 Transportation Design Concept Report (DCR) that was completed in 2020. The project consists of re-constructing of I-10 to three general purpose lanes in each direction between Kino Parkway and Alvernon Way, four general purpose lanes in each direction west of Kino Parkway to milepost 262 (east of Park Avenue), re-constructing I-10 and Kino Parkway traffic interchange (TI), constructing a new TI at I-10 and Country Club Road, removing the TI at I-10 and Palo Verde Road.

She has worked very closely with multiple stakeholders (ADOT, MCDOT, municipalities, contractors, consultants and subcontractors) regarding contract requirements and compliance. She offers a history of staff leadership and knowledge in all aspects of administrative, accounting, payroll, Federal Compliance (Davis-Bacon, DBE, Contractor [EEO] and On-the-Job Training [OJT]) and construction management. Cassandra has a unique perspective as she has been on both sides of the contract.

    The Interstate 17 (I-17) Anthem Way Traffic Interchange to Junction (Jct.) State Route 69 (SR 69) 2 (Cordes Junction) Project (Project) is located in the central Arizona from the north end of Maricopa 3 County into Yavapai County. The Selected Alternative in the Final Design Concept Report (DCR) 4 and Categorical Exclusion (CE) included adding one general purpose lane in each direction from 5 Anthem Way to Black Canyon City and two “flex lanes” or reversible lanes from Black Canyon 6 City to Sunset Point Rest Area.

    The I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project runs along 11 miles of Interstate 10 between the Loop 202 (Santan/South Mountain Freeway) and I-17 near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This is ADOT’s largest urban freeway reconstruction project. The project will widen I-10 between Ray Road and I-17, add Collector-Distributor roads parallel to I-10 between Baseline Road and 40th Street, rebuild the I-10 interchanges at SR 143 and US 60 and add multiuse crossings of the freeway.
